The Sacred and Indestructible Time

The title “The Sacred and Indestructible Time” comes from Mircea Eliade’s text that “For nothing can alter the fact that I HAVE LIVED; I HAVE BEEN, if for even so short a time.” Eliade calls this fact “the indestructibility of human experience as epiphany”. I am inspired by the passage and created this photo series consisting of the two conceptualized images in diptychs; one is the image of a house the place where most of their time was spent, and another one is the old photography found and picked from their photo album.
